My Week in Photos: Candlecakes in Otakufest VII

Hey there!

This came in 3 weeks late. This week was probably the busiest. I can't even remember the exact things that actually happened.

February. Ah, the love month. And my candlecakes day, of course.

February, please be kind. ^_^

With my favourite girls.

What happened from February 2 to 8:

Old Spaghetti House Al Pesto
It ain't complete without my mister: Al Pesto.
  • Happy 10th, Mi Amore! It's the 5th of the month again. That mandatory monthsary date... and we went Italian per suggestion. Cheers to 10 months, my man!

Taken at Old Spaghetti House SM Cebu:

And we were so hungry.
Let's drink to that!
This kid loves to be photographed, ya know.
  • Oh, Hi PRC. This marks the 3rd year of my reluctance to pursue my so-called "calling". A bitter, sad reminder of my bleak future. Don't worry my new PRC ID for you will become of use this year. I assure you. You wait for a few more weeks, okay? :)
Jollibee
In preparation, I need to stuff myself with fats because u know... the next job is going to put Fitness First and Metrosports to shame.
Otakufest
WORLD PEEEEEAAACE.
  • Inside an Otaku's World. Otakus are considered weird in their motherland. But in the Philippines, they're revered. They have eager photographers waiting in line for 'em, plus a bunch of fellow non-costume-donning Anime lovers gaping in awe. And most of all, there's me. I had to spend a few bucks to see this cosplay convention held in my alma mater. My fascination for Japanese animation has long turned into smithereens the moment MTV aired on analog (when it wasn't supposed to be). I, with a few others, comprise the 5% of the Otakufest VII crowd who can't even pinpoint who's wearing who.

Some photos from Otakufest VII:

Two of these ladies are part of the 5% I was just talking about. One of whom thought Lupin the Third starred in One Piece. I just died.
Thank you to our dear photographer.

That's Tonto and the Lone Ranger. I held El's infamous, deadly notebook. I have no idea who my college classmate is emulating.
Otakufest
I play Tekken and have watched Frozen. So, I know. Hihi. As for the other photos, I just posted them 'cause I thought they're cool. xD
SNSD Girl's Generation
Sowoneul malhaebwa!
And I love you, too, my man. :*
  • The Unofficial Reunion-Birthday Bash. I intended to commence my 23rd year in this planet with my longtime and newfound pals. It's in those rare occasions I get to gather them all. Well, just most of them.

Thank you, thank you to this man (who happens to be my ever-supportive and loving boyfriend). :3
The guests.
It says in the menu "Humba for Your Heart". I say "Humba That Hurts Your Heart... and Wallet". Php 90 for an itsy-bitsy serving on a platito. Are you kidding me??????
"Smile! Wacky pose! Look up! Look down...", says the waiter-cum-maniniyot.
So game!!! These bubbly waiters are the best.
I'm the glue that binds these people together. That's not being conceited, really. It's just that I don't need to explain how small the world is. You might not be interested, anyway. :p

Whew. Another jam-packed week. I survived!!! Penniless, though. Good thing it's payday next week! Hahaha

Thank you to my girl friend who let me borrow this toy!

SEGUE:

TRULLY. Yes. That's because it's on emphasis. Screw redundancy. This letter is more valuable than a flashy Hermes bag or a stockpile of MAC products. Or combined.
