My Week in Photos: It's Valentine's!

Hello!

It's Valentines week. Dateless? Not this year, though. It's high time for me to really experience it with someone I consider my unicorn. :p

So, what happened from February 9 to 15?

These dogs are hilarious. The pug was trying to mate with a bigger female (maybe a Husky?).
  • It's SunDATE with the Dawg. After his AM shift, we agreed to go on a date. We missed each other's company. Awwww. Then, we saw these furry friends outside KFC IT Park. No matter how scary dogs are for me, I still want to have one! I told my beau we'd get a St. Bernard someday.
I went home to find out these little kitties snuggling in my dad's motorcycle seat. Cuteness overload!!!
Grateful beyond words.
  • From Australia with Love. One of my high school chums sent me this heartfelt letter from the land of koalas and kangaroos. Got teary-eyed upon reading her message. Lucky to have someone like her in my life. :)
Love and Diabetes is in the Air
  • The Ever-Mainstream Valentines. I couldn't pull up the statistics but my FB newsfeed has a lot to say about the 14th. There are those happy couples dining in classy restos with the women holding pretty bouquets, as evidenced by their shared Instagram photos. A few of my FB friends chose to spend the night (and payday) away with their pals or families. A larger part of the FB population, however, either fall into the "lamenting the single-blessedness" or MIA category. One thing's for sure, though. There's so much capitalism going on and people are duped into spending their dime on gifts of love and appreciation. Okay, I'm being a cynic here. But you get the point: everything seems too sensationalised.

    Valentine's Day

is meant to be celebrated with love. Although it's nice to receive grand gestures from time to time, know that it isn't the ultimate representation of love. Flowers wilt, chocolates get eaten and may disappear in one seating. True love persists, with or without flowers and chocolates. I hope you get the point. I learned this the hard way. :)
He didn't have to make me choose. Gatas na choco or choco na gatas? Nyahaha
Mare e Monte. But that's no pesto?!! Huhuhu
Give some love on Valentine's Day naman BIR, oh.
